Terry Jones - Coastal Quest Rods

Terry specializes in experimental rods using some of the latest technologies around and then airbrushing them with super tough 2 part Urethanes. He is also focused on lightweight trout and redfish rods for the Gulf Coast.

TRB is honored to have Doc Ski as a member of our club. Doc is renowned as one of the best known rod builders in the country. Doc has been building rods for over 40 year and still leads the pack with his speciality weaves and halo wraps. He lives in California

Marks lives in Wisconsin and has appeared in many Custom Rod Building publications with his intricate wood work. His wood handles are some of the most beautiful and original around.
Putter - the Marbleizing Master
- Recent build featuring a Halo wrap and some Classic Putter Marbling.
- This is a Fundraiser Rod done by Putter in conjunction with Raymond Adams, Doc Ski, and Mark Blabaum. It is headed for a raffle in Washington for their "Rods for Kids" program.
Putter Parpart is a standout rod builder that is a tireless advocate for this craft and the Rods for Kids program. Rods are built and sold for funds to promote and teach rod building to kids. He accompishes all this from his home in North Dakota.

Raymond Adams - Sacramento California
- Blue Mettalic Tiger Wrap (Halo)
  Beautiful job by Raymond. Tiger (aka Halo) Wraps are multiple color threads are laid in on direction with a different color laid on top in the opposite direction giving off a moire effect.
- Beautiful Blue and Red Tiger wrap with an excellent moire effect.
Raymond is a club favorite among members and a very active proponent of rod building. He specializes in Weaves and Tiger wraps for rods from 40lb class stand-up rods down to ultra-lights.
Doug Moore - Tideland Custom Rods
- Beautiful weave and rod builft for his Dad.
- This is an incredible example of a weave. In person it looks like a decal, but it is actual threads weaved into the image of a shark.
Doug lives close to Galveston Texas. He is great at deco wraps and halos, but his weaves are incredible. He specializes in offshore rods, but also builds very fine trout and redfish rods.
